DMSO 99.9% (Ph.Eur.) 100ml

You generally buy DMSO from us in extremely high purity. According to current analysis certificates, this is over 99.9% and is therefore higher than many other DMSO products. In addition, our DMSO is certified according to the European Pharmacopoeia (Ph. Eur.).

The fact that DMSO arrives frozen and thus solid, especially in colder months, is completely normal and no cause for concern. So please don't be surprised if you buy DMSO from us: The fact that the substance freezes is due to its characteristic melting point of +18 °C. Below this temperature, dimethyl sulfoxide crystallizes. For comparison: Water freezes at 0 degrees, so it is still liquid in a cold environment just above that, DMSO, on the other hand, becomes solid before that. In this case, simply place the bottle next to a heater, after a certain time you can already observe how the DMSO slowly becomes liquid again. If DMSO is mixed with water (it can be mixed in any ratio), the freezing point drops.

You buy DMSO from us exclusively in amber glass bottles. There is a reason for this: dimethyl sulfoxide is a polar solvent that can dissolve various plastics and extract substances from them. There are only a few plastics that are compatible with DMSO. These include polyethylene (PE for short), polypropylene (PP for short), polyoxymethylene (POM for short) and rubber/caoutchouc. Our spray attachments are also made of HDPE, a special variant of polyethylene, and POM. The pipettes have an HDPE cap with a rubber cap. All of those plastics are compatible with DMSO and are therefore suitable as sealing material. In general, you can also purchase empty replacement bottles and accessories from us.
